iggy looked down at where the spill was on his clothes and let out a long sigh. “it took me so long to save up for this...” iggy said softly. “it’s okay i can just... just clean it at home.”Â

“anything for you, evie,” iggy hummed, looking at the girl and running his hand through his hair. “what’s up? need some fashion advice?”Â

“Well of course fencing practice… what else would you expect such a fashionable pirate captain to do, practice in rags?” Harriet asked with a roll of her eyes. “You don’t get good at fighting in three inch heels and lovely outfits by trying it in yoga pants and sneakers.”  She chuckled at the comments of the Tremaine, as she prided herself on a level of elegance in her appearance, even back on the isle and Iggy seemed to understand that better than most. “I know… no more taking four or five time over hand-me-downs and turning them into something wearable… oh Iggy you should SEE my closet back at the dorms. It is amazing.”Â
Pausing she looked to him with a smile. “Have you designed anything since coming off the island? I would so love to see…”Â
“some rags can be a look,” iggy argued with a shrug. they just had to been done right. “i’m sure you could if you tried hard enough. it would be a challenge, and don’t you fighting types like challenges?” back on the isle he tried his best with his appearance. there was only so much he could do though. being here though, he had anything he wanted. he made a name for himself with his clothes and designs.Â
“of course i have. i’ve sold a lot of things to people too. lots of princesses. but they are all princesses here, aren’t they?” he laughed.Â

“Hmmm?” Harriet asked casually as she sipped on her Auraun-Bucks cup and looked down at her sleeve, swallowing hard and gasping as she spied the unsightly hole in the sleeve of her blouse in her classic lolita outfit. “Ooh! Blast, I must have had that happen during fencing practice… how unsightly.” Pausing to place her cup on a nearby surface she tucked the offending piece into the rest of the flowy sleeve, trying to hide it. “Of course I didn’t buy it that way… no one buys separates with holes in them, at least not blouses. Thank you, Iggy, you are, as always, a god send.”Â
“fencing practice...” iggy repeated back slowly to her. he scoffed slightly and then smiled. “only you.” he couldn’t imagine doing that. he wasn’t much of a fighter. not even back in the isle. he used words to cut others, not his fists or anything else. he didn’t fight people much though, he wanted everyone to be happy. sure he could be sassy sometimes, but that was usually just when he was in a bad mood. “see, some people don’t know that. it’s horrible,” he laughed. with a smile he nodded. “it’s no problem. it’s my goal in life to make sure the isle kids keep in style here. no more dirty ripped clothes.”Â
“look- holes can be cute in clothes, they really can... but that?” iggy said, pointing to the others shirt where there was a little hole. “it’s out of place. not cute. jeans with holes in them.... cute. shirts with holes in them... please tell me you didn’t buy it this way,” iggy said as he walked with the other. he had an appreciation for clothes, especially after getting off the isle. it pained him to see people making the worst fashion mistakes.Â

“I don’t know why everyone is getting so stressed out about the barrier being down. Might bring some excitement to this place.” They sighed as they looked across the bridge. Part of them had never really fit in at Auradon, they weren’t - nor aspired to be - royalty unlike their mother.Â
“some people just don’t know how to acclimate to some change,” iggy insisted, looking over the water. at first he didn’t think he belonged in auradon either, but being there for four years, he just felt comfortable there. sure, some people still treated him differently because they knew of his past, but he tried to put it behind him.Â

“i know that some vks may feel super honored to be in auradon, but i don’t. people are too preppy, the sun is too bright, and everything is too perfect and boring.” the girl said to the other person. “also, i highly doubt every villains deserves a chance to be in auradon.”
iggy made a face at her explanation, but he kept walking beside her and listening to her explanation. “do i feel honored? no. am i happy to be here? yeah. the sun is a little too much sometimes, but i like all the shiny perfect things. it’s much better than the isle. the isle was so drab,” he frowned. “and i do think everyone deserves a chance. why wouldn’t they? we’ve all be stuck on the isle for a long time. it’s about time we get another chance.”Â
