the  lopez  family  left  cuba  during  bad  times  ...  to  put  it  lightly.  they  were  a  wealthy  family  after  all,  BUT  THEY  HAD  LOST  EVERYTHING  !  they  started  fresh  in  florida.  mainly  because  they  had  no  other  choice,  taking  them  long  to  adjust.  years  later,  eliseo  [  +  siblings  ]  was  born  &  raised  in  miami.

wasn’t  that  bad  of  a  student  at  school  —  satisfactory,  for  lack  of  a  better  word.  he  managed  to  graduate  high  school  &  go  to  college,  that’s  for  sure.

would’ve  stayed  in  miami,  but  was  offered  a  job  in  los  angeles  —  and  guess  what?  he  accepted  totally  unprepared  ...  but  who  doesn’t?

adjusted  quite  well.  wasn’t  much  of  a  difference  in  the  ambiance.

met  mrs.  lopez  and  got  married,  having  kids.

while  pursuing  his  career  as  a  guidance  counselor,  eliseo  was  required  to  earn  a  master’s  degree  in  education  psychology.  he  did  that.

almost  went  broke  but  did  what  had  to  be  done.

for  a  guidance  counselor,  being  around  kids  for  7-8  hours  /  5  days  a  week,  he  swears  like  a  sailor  ...  or  mostly  at  home  &  behind  closed  doors.

genuinely  wants  to  help  students.  if  he’s  not  taken  seriously,  he  won’t  be  taking  it  personally  &  perhaps  will  stop  caring.

totally  there  if  you  need  anything.  he’ll  drop  everything,  making  his  way  towards  you.

hustling  dad  mode  ¡ ™

watches  a  lot  of  crime  documentaries,  shows,  etc.  anything  that  has  to  do  with  crime.  just  to  be  safe.

had  become  obsessive  with  his  child’s  kidnapping  with  finding  them.  didn’t  stop.

well,  he  was  only  stopped  for  a  few  months  since  the  school  suggested  it’d  be  best  for  him  to  not  be  around  kids  ...  was  on  paid  leave  for  2-3  months.

getting  the  call  from  the  authorities  was  something  he  didn’t  expect.  unfortunately,  he  expected  the  worst.

although  relieved,  he  knows  that  it’ll  be  a  long  road  ahead  of  them.  but  they  aren’t  really  his  child  anymore.  papá  lost  them  since  then.

totally  debating  whether  i  should’ve  kept  the  lawsons  as  is  and  applied  with  nikolaj  coster-waldau  instead.  we’ll  see.

why  the  hell  am  i  so  tired?  hello.  sorry  i  haven’t  posted  eliseo’s  intro  or  ic  yet,  i  just  need  a  minute  to  wake  up.  work  has  been  a  snooze  fest.  anyways,  if  you’d  like  to  plot,  give  this  post  some  love,  and  i’ll  crash  into  your  im’s.

He is one of the most underrated performers, and I had just watched his memorizing performance in #chessmusical (I am also distraught that he is no longer on #SVU- one of my fave shows) I need to see him as Freddy Trumper at least ten more times (are you listening @strongdanny )
