visiting fields of flowers as a form of self care
happy animals. 🌿🍀🍄🌽🍅
Imagine:
You live in a tiny home with the love of your life, even though your house is small it is the perfect size for your small family. Behind your house is a large garden that you grow your own fruits, veggies etc. in. The interior of your home is filled with houseplants that are all healthy and flourishing. In late summer when the evenings are cool, you and your lover will snuggle under a handmade quilt while you watch the sun set and the stars come out. You might have soft music playing from a vintage record player you found at an antique shop, or you may just be listening to the sounds of the world around you. When it rains you can sit inside with the windows just slightly ajar to let only the rain sounds in. You will read your favorite book or do your favorite rainy day activity. Everything is nice everything is good. This is the life you deserve.
a concept: i’m in a warm bed with lots of blankets and i have no obligations to be anywhere. i’m calm and safe and happy and you are here with me
writing as therapy. writing as healing. writing as discovery. writing as self-love. writing as making sense of the dark. writing as rebirth.
wish my hair grew little flowers on its own how neat would that be
all i know is sleep, be soft, buy plushie and cry
the fact that i don’t have heart shaped pupils is a fucking tragedy
a list of things to be:
kindhearted, angelic, soft, courageous, flower-scented, blushy, smart, self-confident, overly loving
i have a disease that makes me like pink and heart shaped objects and it’s called being a fucking genius
a gentle reminder that you’re safe - safe from memories, people who hurt you, and things from the past that make you feel bad about yourself. they aren’t real, they don’t define who you are. be gentle to yourself as you heal - this compassion will protect you and help you move on as a new person. you can begin again, lighter, without burdens, but growth and learned lessons.
oh to move to the italian country side n living a quaint life in a vinyard where i pick fresh fruit for breakfast, go on bike rides wearing flowy sundresses n taking swims in a lake w my lover n he reads me poetry to sleep every night
sitting and just drinking something warm with a good group of people is such a nice thing
“If you’re reading this, if there’s air in your lungs on this November day, then there is still hope for you. Your story is still going. And maybe some things are true for all of us. Perhaps we all relate to pain. Perhaps we all relate to fear and loss and questions. And perhaps we all deserve to be honest, all deserve whatever help we need. Our stories are all so many things: Heavy and light. Beautiful and difficult. Hopeful and uncertain. But our stories aren’t finished yet. There is still time, for things to heal and change and grow. There is still time to be surprised. We are still going, you and I. We are stories still going.”
