These games have taken over my life for the past two months so this will be my dumping ground for my doodles and reblogs, to spare my poor non-Horizon friends. I can draw and write, so expect a little each of that!

my biggest pet peeve with the Horizon games, which I overwhelmingly recommend and love very much, is that Aloy doesn't have more body hair.

that girl should have hairy pits, arms, and legs. she has a BUSH and the cutest happy trail down her tummy, and you can't convince me otherwise.

Sooo I’ve been playing Horizon Zero Dawn lately … and I realized how big of a jerk I am. One of my favorite activities in the game is shooting fire arrows at peaceful Grazers, right into their blaze canister … which causes a huge explosion after a short delay.

I’m a horrible person :D

The game is awesome and I can’t imagine the amount of work and love .. especially love that Guerrilla Games put into it. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. No kidding.

HFW Aloy really hands out Focuses like they're candy doesn't she

I have thoughts about this!

She has a ton because she grabbed all the focuses from the ELEUTHIA-9 cradle. She was given designation #LK1A1-4501 by the cradle. I interpret this as LK1A1 as being a sample ID, Lightkeeper sample 1 (or sample group 1), alpha 1 (Elisabet), and the 4501 is the gestation ID, that is the 4501st embryo gestated. So there were thousands of children in the cradle (needs to be for diversity), all of whom would have gotten focuses for APOLLO schooling. Add in the need to replace/fix broken ones, and there would have been thousands of them. Easy enough to give out to most of her allies, along with the necessary spares for backups.

And that's why it's a crime that Talanah didn't get one, even if she was going back to Meridian.

I still think it’s funny that Aloy is a child who adopted a parent.

She literally was like “Hey, so I’ve decided you’re basically my mom, if you have any objections, voice them now,” and of course Elisabet, being a dead withered corpse and all, said nothing, and Aloy was like “Great talk, Mom, I’m gonna go develop a complex, see you around” and that was that.

I'm finishing up Burning Shores for the first time and suddenly they gave us that cute little head bump so. Here we are.

I truly hope the bandits don't get any smarter in HFW. I hope they continue to approach one by one, ignoring the pile of dead bodies they trip over to see what the noise was they just heard by this unassuming tall grass. I hope they continue to see their buddy sniped and go stand exactly where he was standing as they puzzle out the mystery of "why does he have an arrow in his head." I hope they resume life as normal with a shrug after noting five guys are dead at their posts. I hope they continue to stand at look out points while one redheaded girl takes out literally all of their comrades right under their noses.
