“Well it is more about being caught in an embarrassing situation…” there was a small shy chuckle as the waitress started to calm down a bit until the things for her hair was brought up. The pink came back though not as strong.

“Aa… I had an… incident, so now that my hair has grown back out I thought maybe I should try putting it up in a more proper style,” after all it was not exactly proper even if she had been so used to leaving it down to cover her neck. “Try to fit in a little more than I have.”

“Oh I see! I usually have my hair up when working with my father...” Suzume said understanding as she normally wore dull clothes for work unless she was just dealing with customers in her mothers stead. 

“If you don’t mind I can try and help...” She then offered hoping she wasn’t being to forward,

“Ne?” Rei squeaked and hid the hair brush and accessories a bit, jumping up and smiling. Well this was embarrassing to be seen fussing with her looks when she was supposed to be working. “Ah, well, nothing important…”

“Please sit anywhere you would like,” expecting the other to be a customer, cheeks a bit pink from being caught off guard. “Is there a tea you would fancy?”

Ah well so much for trying not to scare her...

“Well it can’t really be nothing if you looked that upset over it...” Suzume said in a timid tone, she didn’t want to be nosy but she also wanted to help if she could. 

She then noticed the hair accessories. “Did you want to change your hair?” she asked, so much for not wanting to be nosy...

“It fell apart again…” was grumbled as she tried to tie up her hair. It had grown longer so was trying to at least pull her hair back in the momotaru style, well least the bun portion, but her hair kept slipping free. It was slow in the shop and a few had commented on how much longer her hair had gotten so that had got her trying to pin things up. “Maybe I should ask someone for help?”

Suzume decided to come by the shop for a change of scenery and to try something different when she noticed the girl seeming to be having troubles with something.

"Ah hello..." she began not wanting to sneak up and spook the other. "Is everything all right?"

志 — “Haah?” The ungraceful sound left his lips at the girl’s question. Lift? Wait, then was he not going to be used for ‘those’ activities? His mind circulated the possibilities once more. No, he was going to be used as the grunt workers who transported them! That had to be it! 

But at the second part the swordsman paused, head tilting to the side. Work off what he broke? So then, it’d only be a temporary gig. Shichisaburo shook his head vehemently. Even if it was only for a short while, he’d be helping in such a horrible crime. What would his mother say if she saw him now? Bless his heart. 

“Ah, what if I just do some of the work ‘round your shop? I ain’t one for tricking folk much anyways; much too honest my Ma always said!” Words spilled from nervous mouth. Calloused fingers tangled with brown locks as he rubbed the back of his neck. 

“...” 

What was he blabbering about now? What kind of business did this guy think the ran here? And what was he saying about tricking people? She only was asking how much he could lift so he could help move either their deliveries or to carry wet clay to the shop. 

“Oi... Do me a favor and look around you and tell me what you see in this shop” Honestly he broke the pot’s she was out delivering and they were in a shop filled with hand crafted bowls, tea cups and many other things, how could their shop be mistaken for anything else but one that sells pottery?

6 Animal Instinct: Both our muses are animals living in the forest, they happen to run into each other and despite their differences in species, they create a friendship. 

The silver fox covered wandered down on the hillside,his fur covered in blood at some places. Eyes wondering from left to right if someone’s still following him. It seemed people already gave up,so he could rest for a short while. What he didn’t know,that there was in fact someone following him. Ichiryu heard a small sound from behind his back,turning immediately he moved his ears. “ Who is it? “ The kitsune snarled.

The little sparrow puffed her feathers as she was suddenly addressed by someone, she looked around her surroundings nervously her head flicking in every direction. Normally a bird would just fly away in this situation but Suzume had broken one of her wings, making her easy prey. Suddenly she saw a patch of grey fur behind one of the bushes, A- A fox... the tiny bird felt like she was gong to faint. 

However she noticed blood smeared on the fox’s fur. “Are you alright?” Suzume finally replied before scolding herself mentally Idiot! He’ll eat you!
