sat 25th apr:

17:50 - uninspired. demotivated; but i keep on going. unfinished ideas. ghosts of past works. i am a mosaic of everyone i've ever loved. regretfully. proudly. no difference. do it shitty. excellence is a habit.

mon 20th apr: workload heavy as ever. i'm wondering why sour patch kids do that thing to your tongue, feels like that never used to happen when i was younger. had a thought yesterday, i think; "you want it not need it. if you needed it you would have it". it's testament to how much we can actually live without. and it forces one to re-evaluate the motivations behind their pursuits. i think it's funny we say one when referring to an undefined individual. shows that once you remove the illusion of identity we are all, at the end of the day, one. humans just want to survive. art is a gift, and to be an artist is a privilege. since i was young i've always worried about "not fulfilling my potential". i guess countless parents evenings will do that to you. the irony is it was always other adults deciding my "potential" for me. anytime i expressed interest in the arts it was seen as a 'waste of my intelligence'. i didn't think so. sometimes i need a pep talk before i hop in the booth lol. this music shit's really easy but the rest of life is hard. wish me luck.
