Treatment: Savannah’s hair is pretty healthy for the most part because she doesn’t always use heat on it. Try to go an extended period of time without using any heat on your hair to keep it healthy, but if you do have to style your hair, use a heat protectant spray beforehand and try blowdrying your hair on cool (it’ll take longer but it’s worth it!). Another product Sav uses to keep her hair soft and shiny is the It’s a 10 Miracle Leave in serum you can find at almost any drug store, like here. Also make sure to get your hair trimmed periodically so that it can grow and restore the nutrients, another big thing is to also make sure you’re drinking plenty of water too!
Styling: top knot bun, messy side braid, messy ponytail, and down
Top Knot Bun: start off with your hair somewhat brushed, but not too fine in order to make it hold up, and pull up your hair as if you were going to put it in a ponytail. keep your head straight and pull it to the top of your head, with one hand still holding the base of the ponytail, use the other hand to wrap the ponytail around the base then put a hairtie over the base and wrap around twice if needed. you can pull the bun outwards a little bit if you want to make it less tight and oull out some hairs in the front to frame around your face. I know there’s many other ways of doing top knots but this is just how I do mine and it looks like Sav’s!
Messy Side Braid: pull your hair to the side you want the braid and also make sure the top layer of your hair is parted that way (avoid a middle part) if you look in the pictures of Sav, her hair including her bangs are to her left, do whatever side you’re comfortable with. With it to the side, start doing a simple three strand braid to your hair but make sure it’s loose at the beginning of the braid and tighten it up as you go down. Also, I recommend you start the braid a little bit below your ear (like halfway down your neck) like Sav does. If your bangs and other stray hairs fall out, good! Her braids are always messy chill looking with her bangs and surrounding hairs out too. Finish off with about an inch of hair at the bottom unbraided and tie with a hairtie or ribbon.
Messy Side Ponytail: Savannah usually wears these when she has nothing else to do to her and they can also be in the back as well. Make sure your hair isn’t super brushed, like to a fine point, but do brush it to smoothen it out. Put your hair up in a normal ponytail and tug it back a bit to let it hang lower. You can also pull some of your bangs out if you want.
Down: Most of the time, Savannah has her hair down wherever she is. She either a) flatirons it to make it pin straight b) lightly blow dries it beforehand or c) keeps it natural and messyish Most of the time it’s b or c, keep in mind her hair is naturally straight/wavy so she doesn’t have to put that much effort into it (jealous) If you do want to flatiron your hair, again, make sure to use a heat protectant beforehand and Savannah uses the Hairart iTech Wet & Dry Tourmaline flat iron you can find here. But honestly, I myself just use a Remington one you can find here for $15 which is the cheap alternative and it works just as good! For her more messy hair, after you shower, make sure to blow dry your hair on cool (more healthy) and you can put it in a bun or braid then take it out in a while for subtle waves.
