His eyes turned from his paperwork to his current visit, and he found himself blinking in surprise at the view of such a... colorful hair, clearly uncommon within his subordinates or, really, any underling he'd gotten to meet in the past. Though he was not about to question such a mundane thing, it was still a detail he couldn't avoid burning into his mind. Surely this new agent was going to be easy to remember.
"Good evening, agent. I imagine you're one of the new arrivals scheduled for today...?" He finally speaks, straightening himself while placing aside the documents he was reading, filed to check later. They were likely the profiles of said arrivals that he had yet to check, but he figured a face-to-face introduction was more intune with the way he operated.
"Clearly, I have no need to introduce myself. But as far as formalities go, it's only polite to give before receiving. So..."
He stood from his chair, and offered his hand in a formal handshake. "You may simply refer to me as Tartaglia, for simplicity's sake, though some of the agents here do refer to me as 'Childe' as well. I will be in charge of assigning you duties during your stay here in Liyue Harbor." He explained, while his eyes scanned carefully through her mannerisms and motions.
"I've received your profile, though I have yet to go through it. So, if you don't mind me asking your name...?"
"Trixie, sir," said the woman as she shook his hand
The young woman held herself like she was constantly ready for a fight and her gaze, while relaxed, was very much the one of someone constantly on edge. She smiled warmly as she lowered her hand and shifted into a ridged position.
"What sort of things will I be expected to do?" she questioned, "I'm afraid I'm more adept at fighting than I am paperwork,"
As she said this, her hand grazed the closed pouch on her leg like an afterthought.
