That Christmas in July lineup is... not great. 😬 The casting leaves a lot to be desired. I can't say I'm looking forward to any of them and that's disappointing, not that I'm particularly ever in the mood for Christmas in July anyway. If I had to pick one, it's probably the one with Vanessa. I've liked her since her American Dreams days... but oof. Let's hope they turn out to be decent. 🤞

Yup. Hallmark is starting to look a lot like GAF, and that’s not a good thing. The only movie I’m slightly interested in is Kat Barrell’s.

A Melbourne Match -

They were adorable together! GEORGIE GIRL! Get outta here. So cute. The locations were great. It had a very casual vibe which I loved. Zach was the perfect match for Georgie and helped her to take it easy and enjoy the experience. Loved the bit with Maeve about how it's not always easy to start a family. That was a nice, real conversation to include. Her and Scott were very sweet. Zach was just such a man in the way he handled situations and that was very attractive. She was always in good hands with him (and sometimes manhandled which was great).

Mallory wrote the movie which is awesome. It was funny to have her play an American when she's Australian herself. It was great for her first movie. I was impressed. It was so sweet and funny. There was lots of chemistry and yearning. Her crash-out was relatable. Loved the cameo. Loved the montage. Loved them screaming. Loved all of it!

Moments I loved:

Zach almost hitting her because she looked the wrong way. A fantastic meet-cute.

Him picking her up at the beach. Hot.

The koala watch was so stinkin' adorable.

When he sees her in that blue dress and describes her as elegant, radiant, and beautiful. Swoon! Then the kangaroo scene! A great sequence of events.

The convo with his dad was so sweet.

The irks:

Eric being ambiguously gay. Just give us some confirmation for once please. It's all I ask.

The kiss(es):

A good first kiss! Romantic location and words spoken. "The only thing I want to win is you, Georgie Girl." Amazing.

A cute 2nd kiss too. Love how he picked her up and spun her around. Nice bonus little kiss at the end too.
