You cannot even comprehend the amount of pain i went through in that movie. I read each one of those goddamn books years ago so i knew it would happen and I’ve had time to adjust and prepare myself for that one scene with those lizard mutts and i started panicking in the theatre when they went underground and my brain kept thinking “maybe they wont kill him off in the movie” exCEPT THEY DID AND I WAS NOT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM PREPARED FOR THAT AND HE DIDN’T DESERVE TO DIE GETTING MAULED BY THOSE STUPID LITTLE SHITS AND HE WAS SCREAMING KATNISS’S NAME AND THEN HE BLEW UP AND THE FIRST THING THEIR SQUAD SEES WHEN THEY COME OUT FROM UNDERGROUND IS HIS FUCKING PICTURE AND HE HAD JUST GOTTEN MARRIED AND THE LETTER FROM ANNIE AT THE END WITH THE PICTURE OF HER AND HER SON WITHOUT HIS DAD AND FINNICK PROTECTING KATNISS AND PEETA AND SAVING EVERYONE FROM THE MUTTS AND HE’S BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH HE DIDN’T HAVE TO DIE AND I JUST DONT EVEN TOUCH ME BC IM NOT OKAY

no i’m fine. it’s just that Finnick Odair always tried to save everyone no matter what cost. from Peeta in Catching Fire to Katniss in Mockingjay. and he *almost* managed to escape from the mutts but it wasn’t enough. Finnick Odair, always saving everyone but he couldn’t save himself.
