So, hereās the thing:Ā Iām trying to collect money to be able to continue living here and to finish my studies. Me and my girlfriend are moving in together (yayyy)Ā and Iāve spent the last months or so saving money in every way possible.
UNFORTUNATELY, Iāve recently lost my job because I told my employer I live with a chronic illness. There are no words. I have no idea how to even try and justify something like this. Iām here, Iām working for you and itās hard because Iām exhausted all the time and you ask me to do very physically demanding things all day and then you fire me. Because I told you I might need a day off to go to the hospital for treatment. āI have lots of other healthy people waiting in line to workā. I donāt even know what to say. For those of you who advised me to seek legal help: I tried but I canāt, because the company I was working for is well covered and I donāt have nearly enough money to sue anybody.
So yeah, thatās the update: I have rent coming up and no work at all and finding another will take me a lot of time and frustration because there are no fucking jobs in this country, let alone for someone whoās ill.
