Starting a new Spotify playlist series to celebrate certain genres regions and movements called True Panther Answer. Not meant to be academic or comprehensive, we're neither musicologists or Dj's over here...but undoubtedly music OBSESSIVES so this seems easy and fun. First one is to commemorate the forthcoming mc bin laden release + USA show. Have been obsessed w this music since first downloading the Diplo Favela on Blast mix and love seeing how the sound has evolved. We tried to represent the electro-inspired origins, through to the current era (funk proibidão/ostentasao/etc) and from rio Bahia and São Paulo.
