Boost This Please! This is my nephew Alex, he is 4 years old and a little over a year ago he started having seizures. It’s been a rough scary time for him, his mom and his big brother Jayden. The episodes are physically and emotionally exhausting for everyone involved and the treatments and drugs costly. Alex has been having up to 15 seizures a day and the medication that he is on makes him so out of it he can barely talk or walk most days.
He recently had to be hospitalized over night and has now been put on a new but very expensive drug which is not covered by her medical.
Nothing seems to be helping and Laura is having a really hard time making ends meet. She has had to miss work and income due to his illness and She has little to no family support in the area and no financial support . To call my sister Strong would be an understatement.
