there it is again. the ever-looming truth that there are things that peter is keeping from her. there's a part of her that angry so angry that she wants to scream until her throat's sore. but she doesn't, because despite all this, it's still peter. and dammit, despite the secrets, she still loves him.

but that doesn't make the ache in her chest any easier to bear.

and so she finds herself resigned, a deep sigh escaping as she crosses her arms over her chest. she doesn't like it one bit; the feeling that peter doesn't trust her. it eats at her and makes her second guess herself though she doesn't express it. she wants to believe that there's a good reason, and that peter will tell her when he's ready. and so she swallows her anger and hurt, and she turns to face peter again.

" i'll wait for you to be ready to tell me, peter," she starts. then, in the blink of an eye, she's plastered on that signature gwen stacy smile. "but that doesn't mean i won't give you a hard time every now and then."
