Whoever still thinks that long distance relationships won’t work, please let me prove you wrong.
We have been together for 2 years and 4 months and most of our relationship we were in different countries… we saw each other maybe once or twice a year for a few weeks, things weren’t easy, we would fight and we were so insecure about where the relationship was going, but guess what? Since September 2018 we live together and we have our own place. I will not say it was easy or hard, but it was worth it in the end. I get to see the person I love every single day and I know he loves me, because he left his country, his friends, everything behind for me.
Maybe it is not like this for all the long distance relationships, but when someone tells you that it is not worth it, please try. It is the least you can do so you won’t regret later in life.
Big support to you guys❤️
“Sometimes the people around you won’t understand your journey. They don’t need to. It’s not for them.”
— Joubert Botha
“The real goodbye is the one that happens slowly, over time, wordlessly. There is no ‘see you again.’ There are no future plans. You stop checking up on each other, and eventually you go back to being strangers.”
— we can’t just “be friends”
How, how can you go to sleep without saying goodnight to me?
Did you sleep well tonight, because I didn’t
“And it seems I must always write you letters that I can never send.”
— Sylvia Plath
