𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐑𝐄𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐌. mateo is not entirely unaware of how responsive his husband is, regardless of the hour, or the fatigue. he’s always been that way, and it is something he loves about him. his mouth sends his appreciation, allowing for silence to be made up for by the way he intended to use it. his hand is a touch more possessive now as it takes a more southern route.   ‘  uh huh.  ’   he certainly doesn’t want to talk about mari now, not when he’s thinking about how good lucas sounds when he says his name right before his breath catches. saving himself, surely, lucas turns but is still greeted happily. hands adjust, dipping down to the backs of thighs to pick him up and carry him.   ‘  this class will pass with flying colors, after you get some rest.  ’   he muses, as if rest is the only thing he intends to do in bed.

it’s heart warming, really, how giddy mateo still makes him to this day. like they day they met on the soccer field, lucas still finds himself stuttering when mateo smiles at him a certain way, or losing his train of thought at the smallest of touches. a short laugh leaves him as he is picked up, and arms come to rest around his husband’s neck.  “  mhm, “  is his only response as he leans in to catch lips against his own once again, but now he seems to share the same ideas as the other. the kiss is slower, deeper, and fingers curl with the hair at the nape of his neck. he never parts from him, even as they meet the bed ---  his hands cradle his cheek to keep him close.
