Running. So the sneezes and coughs don’t catch you. Or you, them.
The museums are open again. Chuffed.
Hello Tomorrow 2019, the Regional Summit in Sg.
the green filter to my eyes is tech-made. but not our thoughts behind our green-compression estates when we think, cook, move, travel.
Hello 2019.

Curation. A passion that never dies with the fall of barca, & the steam of the startup heat. And it never should. This practise only sharpens your inward view of your own nuances, & curious behaviour towards all things whether visibly exhibitng forward penchance for change, kinetic, or collectible & change-averse.
“An artist rendering provided by Rebuild by Design shows the plan for ‘THE BIG ‘U”, an 8-mile system of flood protections around the southern tip of Manhattan, proposed by a coalition of designers led by the Bjarke Ingels Group. Details of the barriers would change from neighborhood to neighborhood, and the aim would be to make them look like public art installations or natural pieces of waterfront parkland. The big U is one of 41 projects ten teams of global experts participating in a federally funded design competition say could help protect the New York and New Jersey coastlines from the type of flooding seen a year ago during Superstorm Sandy.”
The U Map. A doozy save for the neon spots.
And the bridge, not plank, lights up alive at night!

This links to the image of the Android print I custom-made with the Androidify app on iPad that media-mogul search giant Google featured at their booth at the creative advertising SpikesAsia event today.
In true creative fashion, the very theme of the 3-day conference filled with speakers and influential hot-button debates over intersections of tech, design and of course, the hot campaigns that bewilder the media spots in digital, traditional and mobile advertising.
The long lines over at their booth surprises no one as their display covers the android press and YouTube play that creatives are all too familiar with, and partake in their creative process on a daily basis. “Can you confirm the spelling of that word”, and to query “..if that line in that song has indeed been Creative Commonly copyrighted?”
What will we do without that field in the middle of the page? Now we have a bag for mobile droids as well.

This is the Adobo magazine in its prime crèche at the entrance of the Convention Hall in Suntec Singapore. Refilled every few to sustain the print copy grabbing of the more than 2,000 visitors at the Day 2 of the Spikes Festival proves the commercial gains of reaching out with traditional media can somehow augment that of it's digital capacities. Taking one, at the end of the day makes for browsing what the advertising world looks like at a more in-depth position in the region, in the consumer, brand and creatively advanced campaign messaging across the board.
This is a share video of Spikes Asia, where I was tasked to roam and blog and tweet for the two-day media pass. Managing Editor Angel Guerrero, deft blogger Isabelita Servando, and Misha Lecaros are the Adobo Magazine contacts who were at the venue at Suntec Convention Centre in Singapore.
Top seminar stories for me were BBDO Chief David Guerrero’s “Crap Idea Generator”, where 50 ideas were generated by the crowd, surrounding crap and the anything goes varietal of tag lines, and the flying lines were hits entered such as “shit lit”, “when the shit hit the fan”, “truly organic”, “shit in the city”, and my personal favourite - “made by an asshole”, which all won well-designed black “C.I.G.” tee-shirts and cheers all around!
Meanwhile, the top floor stories for me & my roaming iPhone, were the prime exhibition booths of surfing fun at Google, deconstructing the website URL and green background for video fun, printed out in a frame-by-frame pixel flip fun book! Next to it was the fun bag “press” at YouTube, which had me “Androidify” - a make-your-own Android design printed on a teacloth canvass bag, bespoke event iPad app of course, and the device chargeing station at Skype!
Charged with fun, over-the-hill swag, voting for best campaigns for tomorrow’s awards, and the timely drinks-hop at four awesome advertising agency-hosted venues are more than enough to tire everyone blogging fingers out!
