The announce trailer for The Sims 2 debuts at the 2003 Electronic Entertainment Expo. This version of the trailer was a bit different, with added sound effects and a cover of The Who’s “My Generation” by Mark Mothersbaugh substituting for the final recording of “Recombo DNA” present in online versions.
A high-quality 2003 render for The Sims 2, featuring Bella Goth and handful of unknown characters. This render was used for many promotional materials, such as magazine features and the game’s website.
Official screenshots released on October 25, 2003, of The Sims 2′s then-upcoming custom content tool SACaS (Stand-Alone Create-a-Sim). The tool would later go on to be released as The Sims 2 Body Shop the following year.
