#SPQR In the ancient Rome, every weapon and armour will have an abbreviation "SPQR" which is "Senatus Populusque Romanus" or The Senate and the People of Rome in English. This has become the foundation of Rome's constitution as expressed in this quote: "potestas in populo, auctoritas in senatu" which means power belongs to the people, authority belongs to the Senate. The importance of this quote is that, even most of the Senate are elites in Rome's society and they hold the power of politics; yet the people is the owner of such power and this power can topple the government.
