I’m a very choosy and a peculiar person. I don’t normally use products just because its the most popular product or anything of that sort. As I’ve never used makeup or so much of skincare products all my entire life, I get picky about products. This Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel was also one of them. I’ve known that Aloe vera has many health and beauty benefits, but trying a company manufacture gel.. uhhh I was skeptical. Many said that it was good. So one day I decided to get one for me and I never regretted it. Its the only thing that I apply on my face most of the time. I bought it because it said 90% aloe Vera and 5g of Vitamin E, permitted Color and preservative Q.S.
It comes in transparent tube package with orange flip open cap for
The first purchase was written mostly in Hindi and not much detail was there and the package even was more like a hard plastic kind off material . The first product had quite a strong scent. It didn’t bother me much but it was strong and it did lingered on for a while.
The Second purchase did look a bit changed. The scent was less and so was the package. It was lighter plastic material and is more transparent than the first one. The first package was a bit opaque than the second one. You may notice the empty tubes.
More details were added in the second tube and that too in HINDI. It’s mostly written how to apply & where to apply. ( Yes, I do know how to read hindi 😜 )
Its a gel so you can expect a gel texture. It takes a while to seep into your skin when you apply it plus as it dries it feels a bit tacky but once it sinks fully into your skin you don’t feel anything. My skin feels natural and it doesn’t feel like I have something on my skin which is why I love to apply only this the whole summer.
I’ve been using this since last September & I saw the changes in my skin within a week. I look more clean, fresh, hydrated, radiant and the pimples stop appearing. This is my go to product through out summer but during winter I needed extra hydrating cream to keep my skin from drying.
Surprisingly it does heal the popped blister. Normally when a blister pops it burns like hell and one day I got a burn while cooking and it started to form a blister and I applied this aloe vera gel on the burnt area. But this blister popped accidentally while I was sleeping. The next day I totally forgot about it and when I remembered and checked it then only did I realized that the blister is not there and I don’t feel the pain. And we all know that aloe vera gel is good for burns too but I never expected this gel to heal but surprisingly it did.
As my daily moisturizing cream
As immediate ointment on burns & cuts.
As hydrating gel on my hair.
My hair gets so dry after I was it and it get frizzy as heck. No matter what frizz control oil or serum I use, first day is always a uncontrollable messy hair day. So, in order to lock-in those moisture on my hair I mix it with my coconut oil. It has somewhat helped and plus the hair fall seemed to reduce a bit. I have started this method recently. Before I use to apply this gel after the hair wash but didn’t help much so I’m trying out this method. First experiment has given impressive result, and lets see how it goes as I continue. Since my scalp doesn’t produce oil so quickly so I can keep my hair unwashed for more than three days plus my hair starts to feel natural and frizz control from the second day of hair wash. So I do this hair oil method like once a week.
Best natural hydrating multi use gel for my dry skin at an affordable price. It does what it has claimed to do like
Useful for dry and rough skin.
Note: I would also say that don’t just try because it works on my skin. You might wanna test it on your skin for possible allergic reactions because we all have DIFFERENT SKIN TYPES.
