hi!
long time no post! If you're still following/recently followed this blog, thank you for all the support. I'm (clearly) not very active here anymore, but I'm also on twitter where I have art and other things! Please feel free to connect with me there, DM me, etc. 💓 you can find me here! 💓

i was really inspired by your soft art style and went further back into your blog to see what else you had. there wasn't a lot of art, but i saw the piece you did three years ago and you REALLY came along and put in effort and worked hard to get to where you were and it shows! i'm so happy you are where you are and it's inspired me to work to develop habits that will help me improve as you did!
hahaha omg... as embarrassing as it is, thank you for noticing a difference!
since then i’ve been an illustration major at an art school for a couple years and while it’s been kicking my butt most of the time, I also like to think that I’ve improved from my bad anime phase. Let’s both work hard together!!
How do you animate your illustrations? Would you be willing to do a tutorial? Because your work is so beautiful <3
hi! i animate them all in photoshop – i know, not the most efficient software for animation but it gets the job done for what i’m trying to accomplish! perhaps i can do a tutorial in the future when I find some free time ~
Hi! I wanted to tell you all your art is so soft and lovely, but your Chinatown set especially spoke to me - it captures the feeling of a Sunday visit to Boston Chinatown so perfectly!! Especially the second picture (which is Hong Kong Eatery if I’m not mistaken?) which is so relatable. I’m a huge fan of your work; thank you so much for sharing with us!!
first of all thank you so, so much!! your message (along with similar messages i’ve gotten over the past few months) are so encouraging and heartwarming to read <3 and YES it’s the hong kong eatery in boston chinatown!! i’m so shocked that so many ppl recognize it :0
and thank you to everyone who has been very patient with me as I take a long break from posting things -- this summer has been a struggle health-wise but hopefully i’ll be more active very soon <333
