I know I haven't been active on this blog for a while now but rest assured my tsukihina thirst is still very real

Tsukki is such a flawed and wonderful child and just imagining how he;d act around someone like hinata in reaction to his realization of his feelings is interesting. It might end up being a hot and cold thing, where he tries his best to push Hinata away and avoid him, but can't help but want him to succeed and watch him from afar and be silently affectionate

okay okay so the closest thing we have to Tsukki being “warm” is with Guchi, which is him being quietly supportive and being near him all the time (it’s a two-way thing with them)… But then again, Guchi is safe, has always been there, so Tsukki feels it’s okay to let him near.

Him having feelings for Hinata means Hinata gets this huge potential to hurt him. And the closest thing we have to that is his brother. So basing on his reaction to that, we get a Tsukki who barely even talks or let himself be in the vicinity of Hinata. But he’d feel proud whenever Hinata does well in practice and in games. (He won’t admit it, though.)

Y’know, I bet the solution to this is the third gymnasium. Kuroo and Bokuto would so notice Tsukki avoiding Hinata, since the two are “students in the third gymnasium”. I bet they’d lock those two up in the equipment room.
