I'm the core identity of my subsystem, so I'll be the one doing most if not all of the talking. If someone else in the subsys uses this account, they would just reblog fanart at most.
I may sometimes talk about my "other half". This refers to one or both of my Bowser-shaped beast halves (mainly it/its) in my subsystem. I may still refer to it as Bowser (he/it) when talking about past events but it no longer has a separate name from me.
I strictly identify as a human and only human, at least for now. I often find myself in a nonhuman form but regardless, I prefer if you don't refer to me as nonhuman. The only nonhuman term I accept is “were”. I'm also not Bowser, this identity is less straightforward than the usual "identifying as something" deal. That being said, I'll most likely gently correct you if you get it wrong the first time because I understand that this can be easily mistaken for a kin identity. I'll have more of a problem if you push the labels on to me even after being corrected.
The 👑 emoji is there to differentiate myself from my in-sys double who signs off with 💗, who wouldn't use this blog and would either use our main or @batten-otome-love-moon. I likely wouldn't use this emoji outside of this intro and this blog's description, but I'm writing this here anyway for clarification.
I use "were" as the main term for my were-koopa identity because of its strong ties to werewolf tropes. I'm a human who turns into a fearsome beast in a very similar way werewolves are portrayed. I acknowledge that my experiences are pretty standard for kin/therians, but kin/therian terms don't quite fit me for many reasons.
My form changes all happen in headspace. A lot of the time when I talk about my own body, I’m referring to the one in headspace, and I primarily talk about it in that context because that’s my true body. I usually refer to the system’s shared body in meatspace as “meatsuit”
I welcome source talk. I’m much more familiar with the Idolm@ster franchise than Mario. We're not exactly the biggest Mario media connoisseur or anything, but we're familiar with some of the games and the Illumination movie. Of course, I may refuse to talk about something if it makes us uncomfortable.
I doubt I have doubles out there but doubles are free to interact. Sourcemates are also free to interact but do be warned that the system is aplspec. We find it difficult to see someone as a friend if we haven’t interacted enough.
