shinee's comeback is so good i'm about to ramble 😭 it reminds me of when view came out and completely rerouted the kpop musical landscape with house music and also with styling in terms of fashion and hair. the vibes of the MV and the song are very much that but it's also more EDM and intense??? also the dreamcore vibes with key running through the city at night and minho in the concrete tunnel and then the hazy rain and lush greenery and flowers with onew and taemin's scenes reminds me a bit of bts' run and save me MVs. also the glitchy vibes are giving club icarus and virtual angel by artms which i LOVE in terms of concept. and that animation seen for the bridge was so drop dead beautiful and i just adore this comeback sososo much it's bringing in so much that i recognize and love from years past but is also so incredibly fresh and distinct
