Then again, Leon never really had a proper dating life considering who he was. It sucked to say the least. Looking down at the floor and then back up at Raihan with concerned goldenrod hues, he asked,  ❝  Do  you  think  we're  doing  the  right  thing?  Dating,  I  mean.  ❞

He didn't even realize how brash his question came out. Well ... not at first. It took him what felt to be an eternity to realize how horribly phrased it was and felt the need to correct himself and fast,  ❝  I  didn't  mean  it  like  that.  Because  I've  liked  you  for  a  while  and  am  glad  we're  finally  together,  you  and  I.  It's just  ...  I  don't  know  how  well  it's  gonna  go  over  with  the  press.  How  does  being  in  the  spotlight  never  bother  you?  ❞

Raihan was sitting on the bed, waiting for Leon to join him. He had on his night clothes as he grabbed the blanket to let him into the bed with him. The words he spoke took a brief stab at his heart. They were unexpected, and yet he knew that Leon would want to talk about it. Their relationship would surely be in the press, and everywhere. Raihan never let the press bother him, if he were to be honest. With the selfies he would always take and post on socials, his life was always being criticized. 

He sighed softly, hands dropping to his lap in thought as Leon spoke. ❝  Leon... I never let them bother me because it's my life- It's our life. Their opinions don't matter, and besides, the fangirls are gonna love it. You know they would. ❞  He teased the last words before moving to drape arms around his boyfriend's shoulders. He leaned into him, nuzzling into his neck. ❝ Anything is worth it with you, Leon. ❞

"Let's get you to the shower, you're covered in sweat."

"There's really nobody else here."

"You've got a really bad fever. That must have caused those weird dreams."

"I don't even know what a peaceful night's sleep is like anymore."

"I can't do this anymore. These nightmares have to stop..."

"Shh, it was just a bad dream. Just a dream, okay? None of it was real."

"I can't go back to sleep after that. I need coffee-no, I need a drink, a stiff one."

"How long have you been having these nightmares?"

"I've had nightmares all my life, but they've been really bad recently."

"You get so worked up before you go to sleep, maybe you should try to relax a bit more. Maybe then you'll get some rest?"

"I'd kill for a peaceful night's sleep."

"A dream catcher? Honestly? I'm not a child."

"Nothing's ever helped this. I just need to learn to live with the fact that sleeping will always be nightmare, literally."

"I'm so tired... but there's no way I'm going back to sleep after that."
