sasha: mmm, i would say there are about 8 or 9 decent teams besides finland. but canada and usa are usually the top 2. hopefully. things start back up in a few months, so it'll be good to see. he did...i wish we could do that for him more often. sure? chucky's in london, i think? but i'm sure i could ask svech to keep an eye on him.

sasha: it's different in our league, there are more american teams, so the odds aren't great. but on the bigger stages, they're rightly favored. i wanted to, but they wouldn't let me. which was probably a good thing. me too, it was nice. i'm trying lol, not sure how well it's going, but we'll see.

megan: gotcha. that makes sense. are the other teams in the world just like... really bad? besides yours. i think it was the best thing for you. it was nice. shy looked so happy that he had both of his parents in one place for fathers day. wanna go out one night together to let loose even more? im sure we could convince matt to watch shy.

sasha: canada. they always are when it comes to country competitions. after having to miss the olympics it was nice, yeah. as long as i don't have any setbacks, yes. i could have played towards the end of the season, but we were out, so really wasn't any point to push it. hm. we missed you, too. i saw it more as me trying to let loose a little more, lol, but hopefully that, too.

sasha: i was. we have a great group, but we weren't the favorites to win it, and yeah, i wasn't sure how well i'd play. we'll see when the season hits, but it was a good step. ah, nice. glad you had fun then. nope. i usually go home and spend the off-season training. figured i'd try something different this year.

megan: who were the favorites to win? im glad you were able to beat the odds. are you definitely back this season with the panthers? yeah, it was fun to go back home for a bit. though, im not going to lie, i missed shy like crazy, and spending time with you. i think a break is a good idea. might have you come back even stronger.

sasha: i was. i felt good, but coming back from stuff like that is hard. i wasn't sure i'd be back to form, so it was nice to do it. the gold medal was nice too. i think? idk, it was a busy time for us both, it seems. anything fun? this is my first time here, so i'm not sure?

sasha: i know, but world's are almost always held in europe. it was a weird year with my injury and missing the playoffs. anyway, i think i did try to invite you...doesn't matter now. yeah, but you're not hanging around the french riviera, too?
