Cardan x Jude Interview

(Just after the Cruel Prince )

ME: So you guys are so cute together, what’s your ship name going to be?

JUDE : I would not even say we are together.

ME: Come on look at him , he is so darn adorable with those pointy ears and tail.

CARDEN: IM NOT ADORABLE!!!! and what is this ship you speak of?

JUDE: *Slaps Cardan* Your scaring her. A ship is a name you give a couple *she trips on the word couple like she is uncomfortable*

CARDAN *Looks at her with an intensity which is terrifying*

An Akward silence passes as they stare ( these two obviously have some unresolved sexual tension)

ME: * Coughs breaking the akward silence* So what would your ship going to be?

JUDE : JUDAN

CARDAN: CARJ

JUDE: JUR

CARDAN : CARD

BOTH: CRUDE

* They both give a fleeting smile to each other and look away quickly*

(26 words I know .. it was just so good I could not cut anything out 😅)

Read this series even if fantasy is not your thing. Holly Black does a really fantastic job of world building of Elfhame. Our heroine Jude is basically goes from being victim to basically a badass. Plus no spoilers but there is some real sexual tension and hate going on, which is putting things lightly 🔥
