too much for his eyesight ; cheren&tsuna
Black. Then white. Then he could see all the colors again, all of them mixed in the most different kinds of way. And they formed a scenario; a scenario that looked like a… a school? Wait, was that really a classroom? How did he even manage to end up there, anyway?! He thought he had already gotten rid of teaching in the Pokémon School and— —
"…Oh…?"
A confused expression appeared on the teacher’s face as he adjusted his glasses several times until he could finally recall that he had actually been to some school’s entrance a few hours ago, and he was hosted by nothing but a… a bear. Yes, it was a bear, indeed. There was a bear in front of him. Talking to him as if it was a human like the teacher himself. Scary? Maybe. But that doesn’t matter anyway. The young man instinctively placed a hand to his head, starting to get even more confused; he started wondering what kind of bullshit was that. Was that some kind of prank? Yeah, that could be. A kid’s prank, because that was obviously nothing but a silly and useless stuffed animal that can be found anywhere — or even made at home, if you, by any chance, own some basic sewing skills. Not that Cheren himself knew anything about that, but— well, no one cares about it, right.
His eyes took a brief “trip” around the room in which he was basically dumped into, checking its door, in which was placed a large “156” written in blood-red, almost as if it had been painted with someone else’s blood. "Tch." That confused expression changed into an all grumpy one as soon as he remembered the so-called stuffed toy’s words. "Room #156… Alone…" A rather crooked smile took place on the teacher’s lips for a few seconds, as he laughed briefly — and ironically — at that rather miserable situation in which he got into. "Well then, I guess no joking about this part, huh. How pathetic. But it will surely be better this way, I have sort of a bad feeling about this place and the people in here as a whole, after all. Guess I don’t need a roomate or something like this."
Nonetheless, the gym leader could also recall something about… mutual killing? Dear Arceus, what kind of idiot would believe in such a thing?! Honestly, if he had to kill someone in that damn building, he would probably rather killing himself instead of dirtying his hands with some random jerk’s blood — it would be just too disgusting for him to handle, he assumed. “Too much useless thinking. I’m starting to get kind of bored already. Maybe I should just take a brief walk and get to actually know what kind of place this actually is.” Yes, Cheren, you’re being just too judgmental, you should really give it a break sometimes. “I hope it will not be a waste of time, though…”
Once his door was finally unlocked, Cheren cautiously stepped outside, immediately starting to look around. Everything looked surprisingly fine, except it didn’t look like a school’s hall at all. It was just too big… Well, it was big enough to place every single being inside that school, he assumed. Taking a few more steps, the young teacher suddenly stumbled on something, immediately reaching the ground, his vision turning all blury until he couldn’t see anything but just a few colors and shadows all mixed with each other. “…My glasses…!” His blue pupils searched restlessly throughout the ground, but to no avail, since he couldn’t find anything but some dirt. And it took just a few seconds until he could hear the sound of footsteps approaching and stopping right behind him.
"W-Who is it? What do you want?!" His voice was all shaky, as he turned his head back just to take sight of what appeared to be a vague silhouette.
Fear. It was the sole feeling that consumed Tsunayoshi's entire being as he stepped outside the gym. For one thing, he was to be locked inside this school with no way out. Eternally. At least that's what that creepy bear said. It only looked like a harmless stuffed animal, but really, it was cruel and heartless inside, not that a stuffed bear had a heart to begin with. There was definitely someone behind all this. Either that or this entire setup was a big, fat joke. For another, the bear had purposefully set up a rule that one could not escape the school unless he or she killed someone else without being found out. It was a terrifyingly stupid trick, but it worked. The thought of mutual killing instilled fear in everyone's minds, including Tsuna's, except for the few who simply were not moved by the bear's horrifying mischief. How lucky they were, to be able to keep calm in times of trouble. Poor Tsuna, being the coward he was, could only stand back, helpless and useless. His resolve was truly not shining through as it should and his confidence wavered with every passing second. Was he really going to be able to make it out of here? He kept telling himself yes but, it was only an empty word, a word that stood only on the sounds that made it present.
He walked down one of the dimly lit corridors, not knowing where he was going. A room key was given to him but he didn't have the guts to go in. He was told he had roommates. His privacy was instantly taken away from him and he didn't feel like going to his room for fear that others would be there. He couldn't let other people see him in this pathetic state. He truly felt like a loser at this point. His self-esteem and will were hitting rock bottom and he had nothing to go on. His Dying Will would never be able to be used if he kept this up, and that hit him even harder. Without his Dying Will, he had no way of defending himself. Truly, this was the Academy of Despair. Why was he here anyway? He thought he was simply being invited to a school of highly elite high school students who had special talents that were uniquely their own. For Tsuna, his 'talent' was being a Super High School Level Mafia Boss, although he still hadn't fully agreed to being one. That must've been Reborn's doing. In any case, he didn't really have a choice, did he now? Reborn forced him to go and, from personal experience, he knew that going against Reborn also meant going against his mad hitman skills. It was scary, even for a baby. Tsuna, of course, complied and ended up standing in front of the gates to the school. Until...well, the rest of the story was on shared by many others in this school. They all experienced the same thing. All of a sudden, darkness took ahold of them and they were transported to one of the barred classrooms where their fate was set.
The brunette shook his head. Bad thoughts were no good for one's mind or body. He shouldn't be thinking so much. It was then that he saw another figure come into focus. Whoever it was, he or she suddenly shrunk in size an- no wait, the person didn't shrink. He/she fell! Tsuna hurriedly made his way towards the other, slowing his jog into a walk as he came closer and approached what appeared to be a male on the ground, his hands patting the floor around him. It looked as if he were searching for something. All of a sudden --
"W-Who is it? What do you want?!"
The person turned towards Tsuna and the brunette took a step back in surprise, not only at the sudden movement, but at the shaky voice that broke the silence that was there before. He could understand this person, that shaky voice reminding the future mafia boss of his own. He hastily replied, wanting to clear any misunderstandings. "U-Uh, I'm one of the other s-students here. My name is S-Sawada Tsunayoshi. I j-just saw you fall and was wondering if you needed any h-help...?" He was a nervous wreck. He had absolutely no intention of harming this person and yet, the other male's hostility intimidated him to no end.
"I-It looked like you were searching for s-something..."
