"i dont like this piece of fiction" is fine, "this is not literature because of this and that" is not. you dont decide what is considered literature based on your likes or dislikes. at that point i could say the Barbie movie isnt a real film, or Jane Austen shouldnt be considered a classic novelist. the world doesnt revolve around you and your preferences.
