Shipping is still rolling out, we have some more domestic and all international orders to send out! Hopefully after the Holiday weekend we will be able to get everything 100% shipped out
I made a page for Volume 2 of the Rescue Bots Zine by @turbofox-zines, which dropped preorders in February and is hopefully entering the shipping phase soon!
This was such a fun opportunity and I love how everyone’s work turned out!
Now for the rambling below vvv
I went into this project wanting to depict as many characters from the main cast as I could, while giving everyone a chance to shine and interact with each other in some less common combinations. This show is really nostalgic for me so I wanted to create a scene that shows that, even years in the future, they all still get together and hang out :) (I haven’t watched all of Academy so this isn’t necessarily compliant with that though haha)
I chose to the setting to be at this time (like twilight ig?) and on a beach to get some summer-y vibes and imply that this piece takes place after a whole day of spending time together (also glowy lights are fun)

The rest of the merch and our freebie sticker have arrived!

We have received the physical zines! We are now just waiting on keychains, stickers, and prints! Shipping will begin in June!
We are aware of our Twitter being suspended, we are working to get this fixed
I was apart of my very first Zine and we’ve got the green light to show off our works!! @turbofox-zines put on a great time and glad to have been accepted!! This was so fun to make and gosh the other works are phenomenal!! Everyone did a spectacular job and the final collection is incredible!!
And with preorders now closed, here’s my contribution to the second Rescue Bots zine that @turbofox-zines did recently!

My submission for @turbofox-zines RESCUE BOTS Zine VOL 2.
Here we have the Rescue Bots and Team Bee playing Lob Ball. Since we have seen Blur in the style of RiD and Sideswipe in RB, I wanted to see what the rest of the rescue team would look like if they were to visit Crown City. So I did my best to mimic the style RiD had with the rest of the RB team.

Roll to The Rescue!
Here it is! My submission to the second Rescue Bots Zine hosted by @turbofox-zines! This was my very first fanzine and I couldn't be happier with it! My goal was to challenge myself in creating something in the show's design and I think I succeeded c:
There were so many downs during the creation of this piece from a terrible art professor who killed my creativity to being heavily discouraged when the style wasn't coming together for the longest time. There were thankfully a lot of ups that helped me push through mostly in the form of such amazing mods who were understanding of my health and nerve issues. Between MysticFox and the deadline this honestly likely would have never been finished. However, if it also weren't for either I wouldn't have gained my creativity back! I'll be forever thankful to them!!
On that note if anyone wants several totally not over 800 screenshots from the show I'd be happy to share 😅 A lot of them are duplicates, that I never bothered to go through. All in the name of research! There was a lot of watching and rewatching to find some difficult angles that only showed for a split second. I'm just a reference junkie...
Anyways! Originally this was planned to include so many more characters, but that would have required a two page spread and I was limited to one. Honestly, it's so much better that I was limited because I would have died. I really wanted to include the Burns family, but no thumbnail felt right and they all looked wrong :/ Ah well, maybe next time.

Seriously you guys should go check out the other artists and what they made. They all created so many cool and unique pieces that just blows me away!

Presenting my submission to @turbofox-zines' SECOND Transformer Rescue Bots fanzine; featuring character Hightide and his trusty helperbot pup, Servo! For those who haven't watched this wonderful series, Hightide himself is actually just the head!! The rest of this giant bot is Hightide's seafaring ship. If you didn't know Transformers could get their own giant mecha suits, now you know 😂
Much like my first fanzine opportunity, this one was incredible fun yet similarly as well, full of roadblocks 💀. From before the sketch up to the very end I underwent stress, loss, sickness, my hand experiencing extreme tendonitis oh and the cherry on top: just as I was making my final touches my original laptop DIED. I had to buy a new one and transfer everything I could over! BUT in the end, it all became very much worth it and I cannot wait to see him in the printed zine 🥹 As I also lost some files, including his speedpaint, I've decided to include some prior wips from making this beast alongside my close ups and video. Please enjoy!

It was a joy to watch everyone overcome, create and enjoy this now 14 year old precious series. 💞 As my hand is /still/ battling tendonitis, I'll likely take a fanzine break but I'm so ecstatic I got to participate for a series so dear to me.
