There's a weird 3 star movie out there ready to change your life forever
It was the corpse of something that had died struggling.
It was the corpse of a small dog.
oh. oh no. oh no i think i’m gonna cry
With 2016 approaching, I decided to get back working on a trailer/tribute for the Eighth Doctor’s “Era” in the EU, as it will be the 20th anniversary of the “Doctor Who” TV Movie. The gif above is from the Eighth Doctor Adventures section and shows the Edifice hanging over Gallifrey as seen in The Ancestor Cell.
just saw a painting of saint sebastian and genuinely went ‘is that paul mcgann as the eighth doctor’. now you may cry brainrot! brainrot! but you haven’t seen the painting yet. hold your pitchforks for a second just wait for this
Saint Sebastian, oil on canvas by Andrea Mantegna (1431-1506, Italia)

just another charley doodle :) very much. one of my favourite ever companions i love her so much
I read Genocide and you'll never guess what happens in it
The man dithered for a few precious seconds. Then he stepped towards her, and now he was staring straight into her eyes, grasping her hand and pressing it first to the left side of his chest, then to the right. 'Yes, I'm not human, and yes, that was a vampire, and yes, you really have wandered into an ancient feud between my people and theirs, and now you can either stay here and tell people stories they'll never believe, or come with us and help us stop her from killing people. Excuse me.'
And she could feel an impossible double pulse through her fingertips, and a tingling chilliness to his skin, and she had no idea any more what other questions there were to ask.
He felt the tiny movement across the moist surface of his eye. For the first time in a year and a half, he felt it.
It had been there all along, watching through his eye, seeing everything he did, knowing just where he was, reporting back, reporting everything.
'I still don't believe you're a spaceman,' she said.
'Carotid pulse,' he said idly.
She knelt down next to the beanbag. 'Go on,' he said. She reached out and pressed her fingers against his throat, gently.
[...] She felt her own eyes go wide as she felt the four-four time of his pulse under her fingertips. There was no way he could fake that.
The eighth doctor having a normal relationship with his own body compilation
What if The Doctor got exiled to 1870’s America? AU designs by @joeyartstuff
so what do we suppose the Doctor even did with the Master’s body immediately after he died. how long do we think he just held him like that, sobbing and screaming on the floor, before falling into silence and rocking back, forth, back, forth. do we think the Doctor held their heads together, hoping to sense something. any flicker. any sign. any evidence of a trick, anything to dispel the reality of the cold weight in his arms. do we think Martha and Jack tried to move him, or just waited and watched as he fervently mourned the man that had tortured them and their loved ones and planet for a year. do we think the Doctor eventually stood with a face as flat as a corpse’s, the body dangling in his arms, an orange-tinted bloodstain drying on his jacket, and walked out of that room like a man possessed- no emotion, no reaction to anything at all. did he think of Torvic when he laid the body on that pyre. did he think of anything at all but the fire and the shape of his face as it melted and charred. did he think of Death as his best friend burned.
me mentally: these characters have a relationship that cannot be defined by any one thing and reaches throughout the narrative and is so woven into their characters that trying to force it under one label would be inaccurate and doing it a disservice.
me out loud: idk man they're fuckin gay
