TVR®522 pays homage to one of the oldest vintage designs in the history of eyewear, the Retro Panto — a historical wire-rimmed eye shape derived from Reverse Triangle, which was created before the 1900s.

The TVR®522 eye shape is accentuated at the edge of the top flat line — creating a vintage look for all Retro Panto designs. made using Japanese SPM (Sun Platinum Metal), are decorated with vintage coin patterns.

1940s Archive (Right)

TVR®521 uses only the original templates and blueprints in the creation process of our frames, along with original moulds where available. This silhouette is loved by many in the military during the war for its unique disposition and it is also the only aviator sunglasses that were made based on a joint standard by the U.S. Army Air Corps and the U.S. Navy, which specifies the shape of the lens and the colour, which was a 50% green tint.

TVR®519 American Collection is moulded after President John F. Kennedy’s favourite eyeglasses which carries a sophisticated look; a distinct angled curvature marked with a slightly oversized shape. The slimmer arms are quite significant, as are the diamond-shaped rivets that secure the hinges.
