Oh the Adventures at the Park...

This summer (2013) I worked at an aerial park called _____ about 10 minutes from home. I ended up working here because I was not accepted to any of the other research internships that I had applied to. But it's okay though! I had an awesome time working at this job, despite a few rough patches, and I met some amazing people that I hope I'll keep in touch with... The following blog are true stories, quotes, etc of events that happened at the (not) aforementioned park.

Code Yellow = a kid (or adult) peed in their harness

Code Brown = you get the idea

Code Yellow harnesses are somewhat common. What sucks is when you don't realize a kid peed on his harness and you start taking their harness off and it's soaking wet...womp womp. I've never encountered a code brown and I'd like to keep it that way.

ZIPLINING!!!! Today my dad, Jason, and Olivia came climbing today with me and one of the park's photographers took this picture of me while I was coming down the ending zipline on Sunshine.

Today, the cutest little Asian boy came climbing with his family. He was five but he looked to be three because he was so TINY! He was adorable and when I pointed him out to my supervisor, he was so excited that he had gotten to harness the little guy. Every time I saw him I couldn't help but smile because he was so cute and smiley!
