How does Finn help the newly defected First Order Troops/Officers

when it comes to defectors, finn is far more wary of the officers than he is the regular troopers. troopers he can help because he understands them far better than he does defecting officers - particularly if they’re officers that weren’t started in the troopers because to him, there was at least some semblance of choice there.

but with troopers, it’s helping them through acclimatizing to not having the constant fear of death or brainwashing if they make a mistake, through the extreme overstimulation that can come from the mess hall with all the flavors and colors of food and the noise of everyone chatting while they eat.

it’s an entirely different culture that it took years for him to adjust to and it still takes him off guard sometimes. he’s there to help them through whatever they need and through helping them come to terms with the part of them that will ALWAYS be the soldier they were raised and forced to be, but how that part of them doesn’t have to define everything they are if they don’t want it to.

Are we meant to believe that Finn is a Jedi or is it an implication that there are more force sensitive people out there? I don’t know specifically if he is a Jedi, just seems to be that so much of Finn’s life is a mystery.
