Hard to argue with that.

Seems like a good thing to have on your website.
I’m helping throw a benefit party on Saturday! If you live in NYC come by and listen to some good music, get some gear for the science march, buy some art, and sip on libations. All for a good cause! Learn more about it on our Facebook event page.
Science might give us a robopocalypse but it might also help avert it. New York City followers, come attend this great benefit and support science!
Forever posting Iron Giant fan art.

“Turtle away!”
Slow and stout, protected and measured, we will get there when we get there.
This painting of a robot on a turtle seems like a good way to end the week.
Robots are taking jobs, but it's human decisions that are doing the real damage to industrial workers.
That’s “robopocalypse,” thank you.

Not sure if this looks creepy or funny.
This is Cassie, a bipedal robot from Agility Robotics, and it possibly walks better than I do.
In addition to search-and-rescue and disaster relief, Agility Robotics has one particular environment and situation in mind: They want Cassie to be scampering up your steps to deliver packages to your front door.
Cassie is just 3 months old in this video, which, if you consider the typical pace for teaching a bipedal robot you designed from the ground up from scratch to walk without constantly falling over, is quite frankly astonishing. As you can see in the video, they’re not being shy with what they ask Cassie to do: It’s on dirt, it’s on grass, it’s balancing on a wobbly dock surrounded by an alarming amount of water, it’s even standing outside in the rain, which is an important feature for any robot that spends much time in Oregon.
Read more about Cassie here.
I think “creepy-funny” is the word you are looking for.
Here’s some pop-art inspired robots to help take your mind off how the world is spinning out of control.

Say it with me now: "Serve the public trust, protect the innocent, uphold the law.”
HEBOCON World Championship 2016
Video coverage featuring stories and results for the incredibly-crappy robot sumo competition:
The word Heboi in Japanese means “crappy,” “unperfected,” “poor in quality,” or “poor in ability.” “Hebocon, the robot contest for dummies,” is a robot battle contest for Heboi robots made by Heboi people. All the entrants are people who neither have the technical expertise, determination, nor the focus it takes to build an actual robot. That is why the robots in this contest can barely even move forward, and why they put on stunningly crappy sumo matches. In the two years since the first Hebocon contest was held in 2014, Hebocon has become a big movement, and has been held in over 25 countries. Check out the highlights of “The Hebocon World Championship 2016,” the first international Hebocon contest, which was held in August 7th, 2016.
