         HEART  BEGINS  TO  RACE   with  incoming  adrenaline ,   his  voice  dripping  with  malice  causing  a  shiver  to  run  down  her  spine.     an  arrow  pulled  against  a  drawn  twisted  twine  ,   ready  to  UNLEASH  if  the  time  is  right.      mind  wonders  why  he  is  HERE  ,  what  his  purpose  lies  beneath  that  veil  of  tainted  thoughts.     is  it  WISE  for  her  to  tread  alone  with  such  a  presence  as  he  ??      would  tyrande  APPROVE  of  her  bold  decision  to  follow  his  steps  ??      she  wants  to  know  ,   she  needs  ANSWERS.

                          ❛     to   M O C K   is  not  my  virtue  ,   for  i  only  seek  ANSWERS  to  my  curiosity.      ❜     she  pauses  ,   for   words   seem  to  still  behind  a  tightened  throat.       ❛    it  pleases  me  to  know  my  UNCLE  remembers  well.      ❜

                                       COLD  IS  THE  blood  that  runs  through  his  veins,  mixed  and  TAINTED  with  those  that  he’s  crushed  underfoot  and  claw.  he  detests  the  way  she  lingers,  expecting  the  answers  to  her  curious  quest  to  be  so  willingly  GIVEN.  but  he  is  no  miserly  SCHOLAR  with  children  sat  upon  his  knee.  nor  is  she  a  child  any  LONGER.  instead  there  lies  a  sentinel  capable  of  bringing  down  one  of  MONSTROUS  fel  reavers  that  thundered  on  mardum’s  soil. 

                                        BUT  HIS  EMPTY  EYES  BURN  with  danger,  her  words  cut  him  like  a  KNIFE.  for  a  moment,  there  is  deep-seated  A N G E R.  a  stab  to  his  gut  at  the  thought  of  the  POSSIBILITY.   but  she  does  not  carry  the  priestess’  blood,  nor  that  of  his  TRAITOROUS  BROTHER.  pointed  fangs  are  clearly  visible  as  he  speaks,  his  height  towering  far  above  her  own,  his  form  MASKED  by  the  rain  that  fell  in  their  sorrowful  state.  his  fingers  twitch  at  the  UNWANTED  title,  bones  cracked  and  wrist  turned.  but  he  says  NOTHING.  for  this  BLIND  HUNTER,  it  is  the  sudden  glow  of  fel-green  behind  the  blindfold  that  tells  of  his  EMOTION.

                        THEIR  SILENCE  IS  A  SLICE   against  the  wind  ,   cutting  into  the  thickness  of  unwanted  presence   ..    but   yet   here   she   stands.        his   name   was   whispered   into   her   ears   long  ago  ,    a  TALE  she  had  asked  tyrande  to  tell  more  often  than  she  should   (  CURIOSITY  ).      indeed  ,   she   had   seen   his   recognizable   structure  during  the  LEGION  ,  the  agony  they  had  all  faced  by  the  mere  hands  of  GREED .     she  wondered  if  he  KNEW  of  their  relation  ,   if  tyrande  &&  malfurion  ever  told  him  of  his  title.      UNCLE-IN-LAW   …   how  quaint  ,   though  the  mere  thought  sent  shivers  down  her  spine.     words  attempt  to  break  this  torturous  silence  ,   bow  in  hand  ..  ready  to  STRIKE  if  need  be.        

             ‘     i   remember   you   ,   so   long   ago.     but   pray  tell  ,   do   you   remember   ME   ??     ‘

                         ONE  COULD  say  that  the  situation  was  precarious,  the  way  she  approached  with  WEAPON  drawn.  sensitive  ears  could  hear  the  tap  of  heels  on  paved  road;  he  need  not  SEE  her  to  know  that  she  approaches.     things   could   turn   DIRE  in  mere  moments,  if  he  wished  it.    but  that  was  not  why  he’d  returned.  no  VENGEANCE  that  he  could  reap  would  be  worth  the  fruits  of  his  labor.  this  SACRIFICIAL  LAMB  sent  from  the  world  and  then  revered  as  the  ‘chosen  one’.  how  typical.  only  now  did  they  see,  understand  the  danger  at  hand.  when  it  was  almost  too  LATE  to  act.

                            SILENCE  FLOWS  between  them.  even  amidst  the  familiarity  of  a  BROKEN  and  war-torn  suramar,  the  ancient  demon  hunter  can  find  no  reason  to  mingle  with  the  few  champions  who  would  be  DARING  enough  to  approach  his  space.   but  this  woman. . .   he  recalls  her  singularity.  a  familiar  MEMORY  that  spawns  the  REMEMBRANCE  of  another  time.  the  initial  attack  from  the  LEGION.  she  had  been  there. . .  attached  to  the  hip  of  the  priestess,  Tyrande  Whisperwind.  her  outline  to  him  is  known  now,  singled  out  among  those  who  make  their  way  out  of  the  recovering  nightborne  city.  his  head  moves  toward  her,  the  slightest  ACKNOWLEDGEMENT  he  will  offer.   there  is  no  eye  contact  to  be  made,  no  words  from  him  to  be  spoken.  to  the  world,  he  is  nowt  but  a  blind  fool.  

                               not  him,  at  least.  but  perhaps  she  would  change  that.

                                WINGS  STRETCHED  far.  even  from  atop  the  the  mountainous  peak  could  the  creature  be  seen.  THE  BETRAYER;  he  who  had  been  slain  in  the  black  temple  and  RESURRECTED  in  his  homeland  of  old.  but  they  had  seen  what  he  had  seen.  a  thousand  portals  opening  into  their  world,  and  when  those  demons  were  slain,  a  thousand  more.  this  PROPHECY.   it  wove  a  path  of  DEATH  and  DECAY  from  azeroth  to  argus,  leaving  a  trail  of  fresh  blood  in  its  wake.        

                                     yet  that  TERRIBLE  FIGURE  could  be  seen  by  she,  the  new  LEADER  of  the  band  of  misfit  orcs,  tauren  and  the  misguided  ELF.  she  who  was  as  DISTURBED  and  DISFIGURED  as  the  creatures  of  the  LEGION.  death  became  her,  clinging  to  her  lithe  and  powerful  frame.  SYLVANAS  WINDRUNNER,  a  force  to  be  reckoned  with,  created  by  the  monster  of  a  king  that’d  fused  with  ner’zhul.   her  aura  was  GRATING,  fused  with  the  blackened  energy  of  a  terrible  DISEASE.  but  it  was  what  the  betrayer  saw  through  his  burning  fixation.

        words  were  difficult  to  process,  this  was  a  time  of  desperation,   yes.  so  overwhelmed,  mind  spiralling  upon  the  sight  of  him.  there  was  a  sadness  in  her  eyes,  an  ache  in  her  heart.  she  has  made  her  mistakes  in  the  past  before,  &&  there  was  DEFINITELY  hesitation  to  ask  for  his  assistance  in  this  dark  time.  a  moment  of  silence  on  her  part,  she  hadn’t  any  time  to  WASTE,  &&  yet….  she  couldn’t  help  but  take  a  minute  before  continuing  on.  ‘    i’m  afraid  that  what  you  have  heard  is  true.  i  only  ask  for  some  guidance,  this  is  out  of  my  hands…    ‘
