I think the way he dress before getting into the Underground tell a lot about how his biological parents treated him. He had major gaps in his reading and writing skills when he arrived. But Sans and Gaster helped him fill them in.

I started drawing some "quick" sketch references for Twinned Souls. Here Sans/Souls and Chara.

So i guess this is the first post on this dedicate blog, I'm really happy everytime I work on Twinned Souls again, It's my main AU after all (and the one with the most complete story even if I didn't share most of it yet)

Chara's 5-year-old outfit is the kind of clothes her biological mother made her wear as a child. Though Chara don't really enjoy "too girly" clothes, so she was happy when Toriel let her wear whatever she want. In fact, the only time you will see Chara wear a dress, or anything like that, is when Toriel wear a matching outfit. Chara really like matching her clothing style with her adoptive family, especially with Asriel.
