I don’t want Cooper to go back to Janey-E and Sonny Jim. I like them fine, but I’m sorry -- I don’t care much about them. I want him back in Twin Peaks as an FBI agent. And if he’s going to be with someone, I want it to be Audrey.

I don’t want Cooper to go back to Janey-E and Sonny Jim. I like them fine, but I’m sorry -- I don’t care much about them. I want him back in Twin Peaks as an FBI agent. And if he’s going to be with someone, I want it to be Audrey.
I hope the “new” Dougie will have better hair.
Everyone who has been awful to Audrey this season: I hope you realize just how important she is after “Part 16.” Cooper would be disappointed in you.
Everyone who complains about Annie as the worst-written character on the series must have fallen asleep during every scene with Lana. Her “plot” was the most heaping pile of sexist shit. And DO NOT get me started on that belly dancing scene.
When Bad Coop called Audrey’s kid ‘son,’ did he mean son as in son? Or son as in SON?
My first experience with TP was a commercial for the Gold Box Edition DVD set, and it haunted the hell out of me. There were times when I would sit and wonder about it and try to figure out if it was serious or satirical, and this went on for nearly 12 years. When I finally watched the show, I was immensely relieved and was surprised I liked it so much.
When Audrey started dancing and then woke up, all I could think was, “Ha! Take that, people who constantly argued that Audrey was of no importance to the story.” Lynch and Frost love Audrey, and they know fans do, too. No way they were going to make her irrelevant.
The moment where Coop said his ‘thank you’ to Bushnell was symbolic. It truly felt like the moment where the original series and The Return became one.
That British kid... God, I swear Lynch wanted to give us the most stereotypical Cockney character and then have him talk as long as possible. Honestly, I don’t know whether I loved it or hated it.
I find it curious that people’s immediate assumption with Shelly and Audrey was that they had become total bitches who weren’t grateful enough to their husbands. There’s no desire to maybe dig deeper with them – they’re just bitches. Meanwhile, Bobby and Charlie? Poor guys. They’re sympathetic. Funny how that works.
I think everyone got Audrey wrong and that her future was predictable. She was always unhappy and bitter about her situation, so it makes sense that she would be the same when she’s older. The only problem is, she’s no longer an impish teenager doing whatever she wants; she’s an older woman doing whatever she wants, and that translates perfectly to her current character.
The Miss Twin Peaks contest was cool and all, but what about a Mr. Twin Peaks contest?
The music this season sucks. The Roadhouse is full of hipsters listing to half-assed musicians that somehow got picked to perform live. The bands have been the single greatest disappointment this season (excluding Snake Eyes and Nine Inch Nails).
I really hope they don’t kill Becky off. I don’t think they’ve done enough to make me feel how I should feel, and there’s so little time left to explore her loss. Beyond that, my heart would break into pieces seeing Bobby and Shelly suffer like that.
I miss the fall/winter of the first two seasons. It made me really love cold weather, and the darkness seemed scary but also mysterious. I want chunky sweaters back in Twin Peaks.
Fun fact: Originally, Audrey wasn’t written as a teenage, and Lynch planned to have her as Dale’s partner, but due to the drama Lara Flynn caused regarding how many scenes Sherilyn had with Kyle, he wrote Audrey out and brought in Annie as her replacement. Sherilyn shared all this in a recent interview, spilling that Lynch went out of his way and made changes so Lara wouldn’t throw a fit.
I hope Shelly is thinking about Bobby when she sees Ed and Norma kiss.
