Elricest Love Event 2024

It's 2024, and Valentine's Day will be here before you know it! Here are the prompts and dates for the Elricest event celebrating Ed and Al's love!

You can choose any of the three prompts for each day - or you can create for all three! Also, your creation may transcend categories. If you would like to write a NSFW coffeeshop AU, or draw SFW art of tattoos, that is perfectly fine! Background ships are also acceptable in your creation, as long as the main focus is Ed/Al.

If a day's prompts don't speak to you, or you find them squicky, alternate prompts are available under the cut - you may use them for any day!

Be sure to tag all your works, whether they be fanfic, art, edits, or even headcanons or meta, with #elricestloveevent2024. Or tag/submit to this blog, so your creation will be shared! If you have any questions, drop an ask here, or on my main at @kylermalloy.

As I mentioned last Friday, in honor of Stitchery Witchery’s first full year on tumblr, I’m holding a yarn giveaway for followers of this blog. :). (I’m also destashing, but that’s a minor detail…)

The yarn pictured here ranges from lace weight to bulky; from quite nice, to only meh; and is about half of what I’m planning to give away. I’d have hauled the rest out but the cats were getting too interested in the proceedings. ;).

Would you like to take some yarn I will never use off my hands? If so the rules are simple:

1. Like and/or reblog this post between now and February 19 (doing both enters you twice, but multiple reblogs don’t give you any extra entries);

2. Because this is a follower appreciation thing, you must be following this blog to be eligible; and

3. On February 19, the first anniversary of this blog, I’ll pick one winner at random from every 50 notes this post gets.  (ETA:  Given how much yarn I have, the total number of possible winners will be capped at ten.)  The winners can tell me the kind of yarn they’d prefer but I can’t guarantee that I can get that kind to them (especially if there are lots of winners).
