“O.. kay, but first thing’s first. My name is Black Star Diopside, not creature.” Black Star addressed, feeling a bit unnerved when the child called her that. “But surely you must have a name? Come on, you can tell me,” the gem insisted, still feeling dread from their current surroundings. “Well, I guess it’s not fair for me to judge.. people.. do have different tastes” noted the alien, still getting the heevy jeevies. “But it’s really late out, why don’t we go somewhere safe and rest up?”
“Mm.... it’s Gwendolyn, I prefer this as we do not know one another on simple name terms for now, my sister is named Abigail,” Wendy stated with a bored tone. Then going to a pile of bones, she began crawling underneath it as it turns out she made a small shelter out of the carnage. Staring out from within as she laid down and curled up in the confines of the clanky bone bedding, “No... I think I have my own dwelling to lay in, you may leave me as I grow bored of you.”

“Excuse you, I’m not an it, I am a person like you.” Black Star huffed, indeed feeling it was right to briefly lecture the child. The gem then looked around, gasping when she saw the skeleton yard. “You.. you sure you wanna live here though? It doesn’t look very safe, let alone sanitary..” Black Star suggested, shuddering at what she saw.
“You can refer to me as an it or anything as you’d like, Creature. It matters not in the end,” Wendy retorted with a calm tone. Then nodding, “I like it here, it gives me a peaceful sense of dreariness, but you do not have to worry. Such things rarely bother my own sense of self.”

Oh dear, Black Star felt her hand grabbed by an invisible force. It didn’t feel like a hand, so it wans’t a ghost. It was like the air around her hand suddenly locked into place, inches away from Wendy’s. “Okay.. so you’re not the touchy type, got it” the alien replied with a slow nod. However, the rest of what the child said had confused her. “Domain? What in the world are you talking about?”
It was a ghost alright, but not their hand as it was the one and only twin of Wendy: Abigail, her supernaturally powerful dead sister. Yet then relaxing as the other had backed off, holstering the weapon she seemingly brought out of nowhere. “Good.... so it can learn how to behave, perhaps there is a bleak, fading but unlikely hope,” the little one replied with. Then simply gestured, “My home, at least, one of these abodes I’ve cared to make.” She then gestured to the skeleton yard... did she live here?

“Oh dear oh dear..” Black Star mumbled to herself, frantically looking for the young girl. Upon getting to the clearing, she spotted Wendy doing.. oh dear. “Hey hey hey! You shouldn’t be touching that!” The alien cried out, making her way over to the child. “Come on now, this place clearly isn’t safe..” Black Star muttered, grabbing Wendy’s hand, oblivious to the fact the youngster seemed to be enjoying herself.
With a sudden invisible force, Blackstar’s hand grab was interrupted and ceased as she’d suddenly find herself pushed back by seemingly nothing. Wendy floating into the air slightly, just a little off the ground, “Mm, I didn’t say you could do that... to me, Stranger. That’s not part of our game. Do I need to show you some manners? This is my domain.“ If she could notice it? There was a deathly aura surrounding the girl, along with freezing air... as if she was the source of it.

The new ‘camper’.
@spitexwired
Neil would feel a deathly chill and lights flickering subtly as the girl entered the room, the air became like ice at her presence as those eyes slowly examined the room. Pointing to him, “You there, boy. What is the purpose of this camp? I decided to spill its secrets and my findings proved conclusive: this is a camp where children are sent to die.”
Then with a pause and narrow of the eyes, “I want to attend it.” What exactly did she find?

“Kid, seriously! This isn’t a game!” Black Star shouted at Wendy. Not the tone an angry parent would use to discipline a child with. But a voice that contained worry and concern. There had been corrupted gems in the area, and as far as she was aware, Wendy was but a mere human child, that is.. wait, is she floating?!
Some minutes later, Black Star stopped at a familiar river, since she knew these woods like the back of her hand. But.. something was off. There were skeletons around the nearby hill! “Oh stars.. did one of them..” gulped the alien, frantically looking in every direction to try and find Wendy.
Wendy was out in the open, putting flowers in the eye-sockets among the skeletons, but she was quite small, so it probably wasn’t obvious until she stood up with a skull in hand. So now... the diminutive poetess began regaling in the night, “Oh, poor Timothy. I used to know him, Abigail... for around five minutes anyway. Or was it more?” The poetry recital had turned into a pondering, yet dropping the skull as she began rummaging through the bones, noisily picking out the ones she liked all the while.

“Hey kid, stop!” Black Star shouted her, not giving up in her pursuit. She was only a few feet away from Wendy, about to reach a hand out but then, Black Star started to hear voices. But the child’s voice was coming from.. behind her? Yet the girl was walking off in front of her? What the hell was going on?!
“What the.. okay.. this is creepy..” shuddered the alien, slowly continuing after the child.
Noticing they were keeping pace, “Oh, a dweller of darkness, the same as I. Let us pick up the pace, Abigail. Lest they catch up far too quickly and ruin the game.” Then suddenly going much quicker than before, it was as if Wendy was hovering forward rather than running at this point. Inevitably, after a wild goose chase and hopefully giving them the slip with multiple attempts to in the underbrush whilst still leading the other out of sight.
Eventually, Blackstar would track them to a river, the humming coming behind a rock near a hill and if investigated: there were countless skeletons with dark colored flowers put into their eye sockets. It seems Wendy was finishing up.

“… Wh… what do you mean? I-I’ve asked you not to, wh-why would you still want to hurt anyone?” She’s not used to people wanting to do anything wrong. That fox guy and his knock-off paintings was about the worst crime she’d ever experienced here in peaceful ol’ Ambor. “If… if you did try to hurt anyone, I’d be forced to call the police!”
“Go ahead, call them! I shall unleash my wrath upon you and all will-,” Wendy stopping dead mid-sentence, staring to the sky as it began to rain, an eerie smile began to spread on those lips. Completely forgetting as Abigail’s ghost appeared in the rain, her sister staring to her form as she calmly stated now, “Let’s go splash in puddles, Abigail.” Thus Wendy would begin walking off on her way through the rain, a lone child with a specter.
