Not much has changed in Fontaine since last he was here. To be expected. Frankly, he's still wondering why the other nations don't have the technology Fontaine does. They could be richer than Liyue by now if they took them worldwide. Of course, the greatest invention of them all...

"Shinny? Are you okay...?"

Shintaro couldn't forget this day. Even if he didn't have a voice reminding him of it every time it passes. Even if he didn't remember all of those repititions of this day that all ended on a similar note. And even if he finally made it past that August 15th, he couldn't escape the uneasy feeling that maybe something related to what is able to happen on this day would rear its head at the worst time. That he'd be right back to where he was before, and... everything he gained after that would be gone.

He's been in a strange sort of trance all day, unable to concentrate on anything for long. He'd have to stay off of Apex or else Sirin might actually beat him for once! Even when dear Amame decided to drop by (oh god why today), he only offered her a half-hearted 'hi' and stood out of her way as she came in. Obviously she was going to notice that he was gloomy, well, gloomier than usual. But how could he explain to her what it was about today that caused him such unrest.

Deep breaths. Deep down you knew this conversation was going to happen eventually ever since you read that article on Valentine's Day.

"Hey... Stand up. There's someplace I need to show you."
