I had asked what Warrior Cat to draw next and someone mentioned Hollyleaf - who I've technically designed before, but decided to redo for the occasion (and because I miss her).

I feel like my previous designs for her lost direction because I made her too fluffy - my most recent design for her is pretty close to how I picture her in my head. Narrow, well-built, and strong. More of a sprinter than a long-distance stamina runner.

I'm posting this at 9pm because I haven't drawn anything for weeks and I'm slightly embarrassed by that.

new vs. old ashfur design

I'm not sure why I gave him partially green eyes in the old version - I think I just wanted the contrast of something different (I had also been drawing a lot of blue-eyed cats at the time).

There's still some aspects of the old one that I like, but god it was so obvious I wasn't really confident with drawing cats (or making clear, concise designs) back then.

Hawkfrost redesign, new vs. old!

Completed this a few days ago but forgot to post it lol. I was finally able to get the “wing” markings look like I always wanted them.

New vs. Old Mothwing. It was so obvious I was just guessing when it came to cat anatomy back then lol.

Made her more of a colorpoint this time around, mostly to make Sasha's genetics more prominent. She probably is about the same size as Tigerstar, though, which makes her a little intimidating to others.

Long time no see! I redesigned my Longtail design, mostly because I can.

The yellow/tan-colored Longtail is basically "canon" at this point so I still wanted to stay away from the typical palette. But I still wanted him to retain that edginess that he's known for, too.

You do commissions? Do you have a price list/scale (even if they aren't open I'd like to check if that would be a financial option for myself at some point)! 🩵

I do. However, I'm currently working on a price sheet (site, actually) that should be available sometime mid-June and commissions open from July to end of August (when I move cross-country and go MIA for a couple weeks). I'll be offering discounts because I haven't opened public commissions in years and some of my examples are very outdated. I'll make sure to post it here, when I finish.

Your designs are so cool! If you dont mind me asking, do your unclaimed adoptables on ToyHouse come as their sketch, and then we'd decide on colors ourselves?

Unclaimed adopts are a little unique. You pick the one you want, tell me if there's any edits you want made to the final lineart (I tend to update some of the older ones because my style has developed a little since then) + palette + any other details, and I finish them just like I do any of these. You can also name them and give me any story details you'd like, or leave it up to me. Once I'm done you get the full, layered .psd to do what you want with.

So, in short: they're still pretty customizable.

Total rehaul of Redtail, 6 years apart. I kind of see the direction I wanted to go with the original and just tried to improve it. I couldn't make anything simple, though. I also tried to make him appear more mature and athletic than Spottedleaf so they could play off each other's differences.

He was always one of my popular designs but I am NOT sure why... guess I'll never know! I'm mostly screaming at myself for using a red and orange so close in value with one another.

New vs. Old Spottedleaf, roughly 6 years apart. My style has definitely changed since then ... it's only messier because I have less time than ever to dedicate to drawing canon characters! But I want to try and redo all the ones I've done so far, at least. Feel free to send in requests for your favorites if you want.

With that said, I've never pictured Spottedleaf as a tortoiseshell. A lot of these depictions are based off the image I initially saw in my mind when I read the series, so may not be entirely compliant.

It has been a long, long time since I've posted any art! Here are a few things I've been working on for a while - a couple customs (Sky and Eclipse), a couple Winter 2024 designs (Rumble and Condor), and a leftover finished 2022 (I think?) design (Amber)!

I don't have a public Discord - just a Patreon one, where most of my adopts/comms get claimed first. I do plan on accepting public commissions in spring, and it should be announced everywhere (Twitter/X @ TIGERTWINED, deviantart @ tiigerstars, Toyhouse @ tigertwined, and here).

I currently have all unclaimed adoptables up on Toyhouse. The older ones are at a large discount!
