There was a guy I went to school with who looked EXACTLY like The Oncelor. Not even exaggerating, if he had the costume he'd be the perfect Oncelor cosplayer. He was a cool guy, haven't seen him since he moved away after high school. Hope he's doing well, and maybe has at some point considered cosplay because that would be awesome.
But the important thing was his taste in music and sense of humor. He tried once to convince me that The Smiths was started by Robert Smith and his brothers. They all grew up on a farm where they were isolated from society and didn't get to hear popular music. But then one day Robert heard rock music on the radio and played it for his brothers. They decided to start a rock band and they called it The Smiths.
I'll never forget him trying to tell me that with the best god-damned poker face, and I was trying my best to not laugh because he was doing such a fantastic job of telling that story that I didn't want to ruin it by laughing.
So that's how The Oncelor taught me about 80's music.
You're just like a dream..
