Hot take but maybe the children who shipped Pashmina with Dexter and not Howdy were subconsciously classist.

While I don’t consider howdy to be a class traitor, he is petty bourgeoisie and an antagonist to the working class hamsters. He is a capitalist and admittedly money hungry.

Also he makes dumb jokes and pashmina hates them both.

Oh you are 100% correct, I'm just saying at face value Howdy's efforts towards gaining money can be read as him having a lack of it. That and (also at face value) their contrasting demeanors relate to stereotypes (At least in the west, idk about anywhere else so I'm just interpreting a secondary source) of those of the upper middle class and the working class. So I guess I'm just assuming every child was as stupid as me.
