Ooc how do you co write the twins au. Do you guys both have like a certain section of the fix you write or what?
We have a server (well, technically two servers, it's a long story) on discord specifically for us to rule play out Twins AU in private. When a thread is done, I edit it to be a coherent fanfiction, and L edits the fic, and then beta readers read and review the finished threads and give us a rough idea as to how we're doing and catch any mistakes we might have made.
The idea is that once all threads are complete and ficified, we will go back once again and edit the whole thing as a whole to make sure things aren't repetitive, we fill in any necessary time gaps, we will tweak it until it's ready for final polishing.
Then, when the whole thing is done being polished, the older fanfictions that are currently up will be taken down, and we will start uploading the main AU as one coherent fic on a steady schedule.
Twins AU does have several components to it, keep in mind, such as the LSEs--those will be staying in their own separate fix, and we have a series of threads that are pregame and a series of threads that are postgame as well. The post game stuff is 100% for fun though and might not see the light of day as official content for the AU. There also might be some bonus different perspective drabbles too.
However, we had also decided that if a thread concept inspired either of us to write it out as a fanfiction, then that would be more than fine!
Though, I think we want to keep things mostly to role play, because the final products we have will be more consistent in writing style.
And don't worry, we haven't like, run out of steam or anything! We're just kinda slow to begin with, and tbh I'm kind of glad we're taking our time since the plot keeps shifting and being tweaked as we go along.
