Growth

It's interesting how the longer you live the more you see events repeat themselves.  Kind of brings home the message that the trick isn't getting things right, but making mistakes and figuring them out right the next time because more often than not there is a next time.

Recently I found myself in the exact same situation I found myself in 2.5 years ago.  I even made a lot of the same mistakes as I did at that time.  However, there is much that I've done better as well.  Things that I've severely screwed up and regretted back then, I've started to do the same only to catch my hand as it swings out acting on emotion; let the brain do the work and not be run around by the heart.

The result is a much healthier, happier lifestyle, and even when things explode in a nuclear fashion, I'm pulling myself out of a light trench rather than trying to dig back up through a deep grave I've gotten myself into.

I guess this what being an adult is like.

Caffiiiiine WHY ARE YOU SO

I love/hate coffee.  Coffee is so wonderful until the caffeine kicks in and then instead of being alert and focus I become the most scatter brained ADD person ever and can't focus and get anything accomplished. :(

Fortunes

I was eating into a fortune cookie, an activity normal delightful

(but less so if you haven't taken the paper out, though some have learned to extract the paper while enjoying the flavor by using a skilled set of teeth and eye trained in high proficiency coordination)

And the fortune read, "GET OUT MORE"

This brought me to two sets of minds:

#1 - Fortunes have become surprisingly far less positive these days and;

#2 - I should get out more
