Rare beauties.
It fascinates me.
There have been countless times where I have encountered some pretty incredible people in my life. Where you meet them, hang out and talk, relate to each other on an amazing level. And then something magical happens with these people...... They touch the very center of your soul. They reach it in a way that no other average human beings in your life can. Although some very few along the way in your life, perhaps, ATTEMPT to touch your soul. But let’s face it......not everyone is meant for greatness. They don’t have that spark or rich potential to change your life the way that these others do. It’s sad but true when those in your life make a wrong turn and think they are helping you when, in reality, they’re bringing you down. Back to the subject at hand.........it’s actually scary sometimes. When a rare, certain human beings touches your soul like that. Like you want these beautiful people to stay in your life forever. It could be someone off the street who had suddenly become your guardian angel. Your lunch break buddy who always sits at the same table with her notebooks, muffins, and YouTube videos that you both laugh at so loudly that everyone in the cafe stares. But you rather not care for a second. Because this is a special bond. This is someone who has reached your soul. Someone who brings you joy and hope. Why care about the others in the room? These are those types of moments in life that you savor and enjoy. The moments that linger around you with the possibility of great new heights. Enjoy its company. Another example would be a potential mother-figure. Someone who you are afraid of encountering because you fear or await their approval of you. You then become nervous and anxious on a daily basis while you are second-guessing your every move to make sure they will be impressed with who you are. As time passes by, you realize that there is no need for second-guessing. You then become comfortable with her and love every second that passes by. You love it because you know that she is really appreciating all of this time with you as she rubs that pink Hello Kitty ribbon you used to wrap that Christmas present you gave to her. You catch a glimpse of joy while she’s out shopping at the grocery store with you or when she is swimming laps with you at 5am in the gym’s swimming pool. All of this quality time assures you that she will become your future second mother. You know it in your gut. A last example can be a possible future lover.... They walk into your life unexpectedly. You notice them after a few talks about common interests in music, art, jokes, dancing, etc. They also happen to be extremely handsome. After a while, you just cannot get enough of them. You find yourself just waiting for them to pass by you since you see them coming from the corner of your eye and the excitement awaits them around the corner as you jump out at them with something interesting or funny you have been dying to tell them. You know they will like what you have to say because you adore that excited feeling or reaction he gets when you tell him something interesting or ask him a question. They suddenly become this person that you just can’t stop thinking of. They become that person who answers all of your confusing, lonely nights and they become that gleaming light of hope. Like the answer was right in front of you all along, but you have been too stubborn or scared to see it. Then things suddenly become clear and they put your mind into a brand new perspective. There comes a point in that time frame when you take their words of wisdom and take matters into your own hands. You then begin to act! You take charge and make epic changes in your life that are necessary....
People..............these types of persons are blessings in your life. However, my point in all of this is that they are exactly what I stated earlier.....They are rare human beings. Rare in the fact that they are not around in your life for a long time. Momentary, rare beings of magic. That magical, beautiful feeling you get in the core of your heart. For me, that feeling in my heart only lasted for a while......That place in my heart tricked me into thinking that it was going to last forever. It tricked me into thinking that the place in my heart was going to become my sanctuary that I thought I was going to be able to escape to whenever I wanted to. For all 3 of these rare beauties......They were shooting stars.....soaring right before me. In reality, though, those types of people cannot last. It is like a blessing and a curse to encounter those types of lives. Like there’s some sort of unfair rule of life written somewhere that life can be this incredibly unfair and horrendous place to be...........
Where these people are taken from you. LIFE takes them away from you. Either by death of a heart attack. By a job termination. By moving different locations by force. By meeting the soulmate of your life at the most unfortunate, wrong time and place. By the most epic, important priorities in their lives that they must commit to. By so much bullshit that you just can do absolutely nothing about it to change the chances of ever seeing them in that same light in which you all met in the beginning. Perhaps that version of them will never exist again. Or maybe, JUST maybe, you will someday see them again. Sadly, yet, some of those people you will just have to join in the afterlife.......
These things just happen. Life happens. Rare beauties. They come and go.....
