Today's eurovision vocal stim is Jokūbas in that one interview going "we were da best🤷🏽‍♀️"

I just watched Lithuania's National Selection for Katarsis and there are so many funny moments like first of all, the guy who came second place had such a wtf performance like it could've fit in perfectly this year but it also could've been the absolute worst. Then Katarsis performs their song 3 times. The first time is perfect, the second time there is one voice crack, and the third time was an absolute mess (but in a funny way).

Lukas gets scared by confetti, he starts yelling lyrics instead of singing, at one point he starts a line so off key and then bails, he yells at the audience to sing (and they do), and at the end he says thank you and then for some reason forces Alanas to also say thank you and he does it in the funniest most quiet and disinterested voice before the show cuts out and it reminded me of how in every Eurovision interview Lukas forces a mic to Alanas and we have to watch as he scrambles for something to say.

That last performance truly shows us the bands personality and for a second I felt like I was at an actual Katarsis show and not watching some stiff Eurovision junk.

Also why is Thank You in Lithuanian a literal sneeze 💀

One thing I really like about katarsis is how seemingly simple the guitar is in their songs. Like I feel like if you gave me a guitar and an hour I could figure out how to play a bit. The instrumentals are really basic (for the lack of a better term) and yet they're still able to convey such emotion and atmosphere.

Then there's also the matter of Lukas just having this secretly powerful voice where you'd never expect it from just looking at him. God it must be so nice to be able to sing.
