[ Ulalume wandered through the halls, searching for someone. If one were to see her at this time, they could catch her turning to talk to a spider on the wall. It went something like this. ]

" Eh?

[ Pause. ]

" Just Helen, yeah.

[ Slightly longer pause. ]

" Well you're never any help anyway! Just pissing me off..

[ She said as she returned to walking. Ulalume made her way towards the doors to the first floor of the arboretum. ]

" Heleennn!

[ They called out as they walked in, waiting for a reply. When there was none they just sighed and walked toward the tree centerpiece. Ulalume leaned against it and took a moment to rest. ]

[ As Ulalume stood there, she didn't notice the slight rustling of the leaves, nor did she notice the little shake of some of the branches. But she did notice the cold hands grabbing her shoulders from above.. ]

[ Ulalume, surprisingly, shrieked. She threw her hands up like she was gonna punch someone, then covered her mouth in embarrassment of realizing she made that sound, and also the fact that it was only Helen. ]

" Jeez, Helen! Don't do that ;w;

[ They laughed it off a little as they looked up at Helen, who was sitting in the tree. ]

[ Helen dangled her legs over the grass. Her hair was in a bun, unlike her usual twin braids. It seemed like it had been neater at some point, but now it had a few leaves and some moss in it. ]

" You should come on up here, it's nice :)

[ She smiled, climbing back up to a higher point. ]

[ Ulalume said hesitantly. She took her skirt off to make the climb easier, and it went down to the ground with a thud due to all the weapons and other objects in it.. What? She has shorts underneath.

She followed behind Helen, situating herself on a branch one lower than her friend. ]

" I used to climb trees a lot when I was still really alive :)

[ There was a short silence as Helen diverted her attention to a small ladybug, holding it in her hand before it flew off. ]

" Then you know, I..

They weren't paying any mind to the things going on around them, just grabbing things off the shelves and pausing every few seconds to admire how much food there was. ]

" Oh. Hey dipshit :3 I was just looking for some snacks to pocket, maybe snag a beer while I'm at it.

" Look at it all, River. I've never seen this much food outside of stores.

[ She said, motioning at the pantry shelves. ]
