I made my bestie prayer candles for her bday with some of our fave ladies as saints plus an extra candle wrapped in basically a wallpaper of kittens and cute shirtless men. I also wrote prayers for the 'Saints' on the candles and I have to say, I'm kinda proud of myself. 😁 I made a Beysus, Saint Janet Scott, Saint Leslie Knope, Saint RBG, and Saint Retta.

Can we all just take a minute to talk about how awesome the British police procedural Scott & Bailey is? Tons of women in the cast, they are all interesting, smart, complex and have inner lives that are compelling. The characters are far from perfect but the friendships are genuine, and the way they deal with the organizational hierarchy is so refreshing. There's no petty jealousy or disrespect. The women are in charge because they get shit done. It's the most awesomely feminist show and I loooovvvveeee it. I need Janet Scott as my life coach on the ASAP.
